Saturday we went to the aquarium and zoo which was amazingly awesome. I have a video and pictures I'll post when I can get them off my laptop. =\ I'm very sad my laptop charger isn't working. =[ Like..VERY VERY saddd..

Dimitri..I really don't know how I feel about him anymore. His situation is on standby. I like how he doesn't even say anything to me on yahoo anymore. Like..just what the hell ever with that situation. It frustrates me because it's like when I try to get closer to him, he pushes me away even harder. Then when I stop paying attention to him, that's when he wants to pay me attention. -_- I'm tired of freaking games honestlyyyy. I don't know why it can't just be like: Aubree, I like you..Let's get to know each other. SMH!! :|

I need some new friends. Like..Jabari is great and all..but he's been becoming less and less talkative lately because of his new love interest [whom I don't like]. Which is not unusual for the way he gets when he DOES get a new love interest. He does tend to neglect. Which I'm fine with because that's just the way he is and I've come to accept that. But I need new friends. -_- Which is odd for me to say because I've never been an advocate of 36596 friends and I don't even want that many. Maybe 2 or 3 new ones, I'm working on it. Lol. Gabrielle, she's a great friend and cool to talk to. We have a lot in common which is always cool. I should meet more people this year though. I has big plans. ;D

It's my last week of SCHOOL!! YAYYYY! I'll be away from atl this friday and I'm freaking excited. There's nothing wrong with atlanta but I need a break from it all. SRSLY! Goshhhh.

 P.S.S. AHHHH!! I can't believe I didn't mention this. Maybe because I'm blogging about this way after it happened but my daddy finally came home on saturday! WEEEEE!! <3 I'm so happyyyy! :D Now we can be the happy foursome again. ^_^

Tonight we [Ashley, Matthew, Jabari, and some dude named Jeremy] went out for dinner. It didn't initially start like that. We were supposed to go bowling but the rides got mixed up. Elijah ended up driving us to the atlantic station. We ate at this semi-formal mexican place. We had fun even though it wasn't our original plans. Matt kept on flirting which was cute.   and he ate a pepper!! which was freaking hilarious! lol. he didn't think so though. he drank so much water and ended up peeing in the parking deck, right after he left the restaurant where he peed right before we left. wtf? HAHA. yea..but uhm..their food was kinda expensive and stuff. IT WASN'T EVEN THAT GOOD! which sucked. and they had this really cool fountain thing that was beautiful and everyone had a good night out!  I kissed matt on the cheek before getting out of the car. hehe. we're so cute.  

when i got home, i called Matt to let him know i was home safely and he was tipsy at the time and he was like: You know what? You are SOOO beautiful. I wanna get to know you better, you feel me?

HAHA. omgsh. so crazy.

oh my gawd..P.S. the stupid people tried to include 18% tip in our bill when we only had a party of 5. On the menu it said party of 8+ will be charged automatically..so jabari raised hell and got them to remove it. lol. oh boy..my best friend.

Where do i even begin?! Stuff has been going well lately well, besides my love life which is always a mess anyway. So lemme list all of these "potential guys" and their flaws..

first up would be Quasaan, lovely looking boy, puerto rican!! =D, involved, beautiful hazel eyes, nice conversation, fun, sensual - problem? he's SHADY. he's warm one minute and cold the next.  it's annoying. 

second would be Kevin. gorgeous guy, beautiful green eyes, fantastic height (like 6'5), silly - problem? he can't hold a proper conversation. UGH!!

third would be Matthew and the newest addition to the bunch. adorable guy! , cute little brown eyes, silly, great conversationalist, grounded, involved - problem? well..i haven't gotten there yet. I was talking to my mom about this..like if i had someone that was extremely attractive to me..such as Kevin then Matthew who is slightly less attractive (not by much because he's handsome!!) but who would i pick? the one who is more mentally equipped right? in fact, it should go the other way around. yea..exactly. lol. but i don't know..after Campus Movie Fest 2008 and spending A LOT of time with my film team (including Matt) I began to catch feelings. Needless to say, he seems to be catching them too...according to him he can't wait to "see how deep our rabbit hole goes". Yea..Matt..sureeee. lol. -raises one eyebrow-. But really? he said I intrigue him because i'm different. which is the way it's supposed to be. 

Anywho..just thought i'd open up with love life updates. lol. last time i blogged was like my birthday. LAWD. a lot has gone on since then. not sure if i can remember it all..but i sure can try..The biggest thing that recently happened would be Campus Moviefest. I met a couple of new friends and i love them..they are SO cool. our movie came out great. however we filmed too much for that small timeframe of 5 minutes. yikes. so we had to speed alot of it up. i'm like SO excited to get my hands on a copy tomorrow! Speaking of tomorrow, i go kickboxing with Matthew and i'm excited! Our film team is supposed to be going out on saturday night! i'm excited for that as well! lol. uhm..what else happened. oh yes, this morning kind of sucked. A garlic sauce spilled in my new babyphat purse so yes..it's useless now. it spilled all over my stuff..my camera..my pens..pencils, money..everything! And of course, if my day starts off like that..it will progressively get worse..and without a doubt, it did. Jabari and I got stuck in the damn train for over an hour this morning! Talk about bad luck. lol. we missed our first class entirely this morning. nice.

i'm not going to lie..i thought about jay a little today. i miss him. but i don't regret that we broke up. shit happens. but you know..i'm getting over him. 

life in general is going very well..i'm managing to keep positive attitude about everything. which is always good! =)

normally i'm not the type of person to even make new year's resolutions because i make my goals as i live my life, i don't need one day on a calendar to tell me when..but i'll list my goals i had prior to this new year's mania..


-maintain a good attitude whether or not what's going on in my life is great
-quit being so damn bratty about everything i have, i'm blessed with more than the average person
-stop settling for less than i expect in a guy
-remain abstinent until in a genuine relationship***
-good grades galore****
-get a boyfriend that REALLY loves me for me (of course not a NEED..more like a want.)**
-JOB! lol. when i move downtown.
-be able to maintain myself in fall when i DO move downtown.
-get more female friends. lol. i need those!! right now i chill with ALL guys!


Lately..i've been really good. Family, Friends, Quay, Video Games..you know. lol. in an hour i'll be doing photos for the family. i'm excited. lol. I got to see Joyann and the rest of her fambam yesterday! LAWD they have like 7 people in their family..but they are SO nice..it's always nice to see old friends and such (we know them from when we used to live on Tortola island). 


Last night, we (my brother and i) hung out with Jabari, Derrick, and Mika..Joyce came later..but she really wasn't much of anything. she basically came to fawn all over derrick which i thought was TOTALLY inappropriate in front of my little brother. she has no shame whatsoever. LOL @ them getting up to go fuck in Jabari's room. dirty bitch. Anyway..we had a good time at the movies..my brother liked the movie and seemed to be enjoying himself! It kinda pissed me off when derrick kept on sticking his paws in the popcorn..but after a while he quit and i went to go get a refill for him (my brother) and everything was great. i loved that movie (The National Treasure 2). It was really good. Whomever came up with the plot was such a nerd. lol. SO much history though..i suppose history isn't that bad afterall..however, i always considered american history to be interesting. WORLD history is what really bores the bullshit out of me. anyway..after we came back from the movies we lit firecreackers and just chilled at his house. yerp. nothing special. When we came home..Auntie Jean (another old friend from Tortola) spent the night because it was already like four in the morning. I love her so much! she's cool people..shame what her fucking husband did to her..some men are just NO good. i thank the LORD that i am in the 35% of black families in america that have two parents who love and care for each other..and strangely NEVER EVER fight...ever. never. lol. but anyway..i need to go start getting ready for pictures and such! i'll type later tonight!!
